The European Parliament adopted a report stating that by 2030 the share of waste for recycling in the EU should rise to 70%. Currently this share is 44%. Environmental issues are highly prioritized in the worldwide agenda and are also a priority theme for South-East Europe. The countries from the Region are in need of expertise, technology products and equipment.
